  4. You need 1/2 lb of Of russet potatoes peeled and cubed.
  5. Use 6 of Sprigs thyme.
  6. You need 1 of Corn beef brisket ( about 3 pounds ).
  7. Take 1 tbsp of Pickling spice ( can use packet the brisket comes with, I used my own ).
  8. Get 1/2 of Cabbage sliced.
  9. You need 6 cup of Water.

  1. Place corn beef brisket into slow cooker fat side up and add about 6 cups of water till it's covered..
  2. Add in vegetables, potatoes, thyme sprigs, and pickling spice. ( I cooked this on high for 6 hours. Can also cook on low for 8 hours ).
  3. About 20 minutes before serving take a large pot with water at a medium boil add your cabbage, after about 20 minutes cabbage will be fully boiled..
  4. Take the meat out of the slow cooker and cut. Using a draining spoon take out the rest of the vegetables and potatoes, same for the cabbage and serve!.
